Our Main Goal is to Internet Archive the AGBU History in Lebanon



Our Goal



To preserve, recognize, and most of all to pass down to the new generation in a suitable way via modern media devices, the tremendous achievements fulfilled by devoted leaders and members of the AGBU and AYA during more than one hundred years of its existence in Lebanon. (Just an example, in the first timeline (1905-1939) there are about 1000 names mentioned in various AGBU and AYA committees or programs…These days we hardly remember 50 or 60 names of them…the others are resting on the worn-out pages of the archives.)



The historical data and all other information sources of this timeline are based on publications and history books of the AGBU and AYA, as well as on the available archive in AGBU and AYA Lebanon office. Unfortunately, our archives are not complete, so this 1st history timeline is lacking, mostly the information about chapters, programs, activities and committee members section in (1920-1939) period. We are relying on our members and friends, as well as family members of our ex-members to find out if there are some forgotten multimedia archive materials (photos, movies, notes, name list, memories etc.) that can help us to accomplish the task.



This first timeline will be an experimental one, to build on the next four AGBU and AYA History Timelines in Lebanon (1940-1959), (1960-1979), (1980-1999) and(2000-2020). So we are open to your comments



ՀԲԸՄ-ՀԵԸ-ի «Լիբանանի մէջ Ժամանակագրական Թուայնացուած Պատմութեան» հինգ բաժիններէն իւրաքանչիւրը, պիտի ընդգրկէ 20 տարուայ ժամանակաշրջանի մը միութենական (multimedia) գործունէութիւնը:

Այս համապարփակ ծրագրին Գլխաւոր նպատակն է, Լիբանանի մէջ, ՀԲԸՄ-ի և ՀԵԸ-ի հարիւրամեայ գործունէութեան պատմութիւնը, միութենական ղեկավարներու և անդամակցութեան երկարամեայ նուիրական աշխատանքը, արդի արհեստագիտական դիւրամատչելի միջոցներով, նոր սերունդներուն և բոլոր փափաքողներուն մատչելի դարձնելը:

Այս, և այս շարքին յաջորդող բոլոր բաժիններուն մէջ ներկայացուած տուեալներուն գլխաւոր աղբիւրը, ՀԲԸՄ-ի հրատարակութիւնները և Պատմութեան գիրքերն են, Ինչպէս նաեւ, Լիբանանի մէջ, ՀԲԸՄ-ի և ՀԵԸ-ի գրասենեակային արխիւները. որոնք դժբախտաբար ամբողջական չեն: Այս առթիւ կոչ կուղղենք բոլոր մեր նախկին և ներկայ միութենական անդամներուն, և անոնց հարազատներուն ու բարեկամներուն, եթէ ունին ՀԲԸՄ-ի և ՀԵԸ-ի Լիբանանի մէջ միութենական գործունէութեան հետ առնչուած որեւէ արխիւային նիւթ՝ (նկար, փաստաթուղթ, video-audio, տեղեկագիր, անուանացանկ, յուշագրութիւն, եւայլն), շնորհակալ պիտի ըլլանք, եթէ փոխանցեն ՀԵԸ-ի Գրասենեակ: archive@agbu-aya-lbhistory.org (Բոլոր արխիւային նիւթերը պիտի վերադարձուին իրենց տէրերուն, պատճէնահանուելէ և թուայնացուելէ ետք):

ԸԲԸՄ-ի և ՀԵԸ-ի, Լիբանանի մէջ «Ժամանակագրական Թուայնացուած Պատմութեան» շարքին այս առաջինը, պիտի հանդիսանայ նախափորձ մը, որուն հիման վրայ պիտի ամբողջացնենք մնացեալ չորսը՝ (1940-1959), (1960-1979), (1980-1999) և (2000-2020): Արդ կը սպասենք ձեր նկատողութիւններուն:
